Hello, my fellow wealth builders!
I hope your new year is off to a great start. Can you believe its February?!?
The beginning of the year has been very active and exciting if I do say so myself!

Here at Wealthy Kids Academy, we are not only trying to teach financial literacy to the next generation but we are also trying to help them understand how to build a wealthy future as well.

Not only do our kiddos need to know what to do with money when it comes to them but they need to understand how to get money in the first place. I like to call it ‘learning to earn’. A catchy little phrase that holds a lot of meaning.

Learning to earn is yet another skill that most of us don’t learn anything about until we’re adults, or in many cases, not at all.

When you learn to earn, you are learning where money actually comes from…how to get it out of one person’s hands and into yours in exchange for something of value. But as kids, we don’t learn much about this. The actual concept of earning itself seems to be dying away thanks to Good ‘Ol Uncle Sam trying to convince our younger generations that earning and owning things is well, a hassle! While this is true, earning means work, owning things is imperative to freedom. In my opinion, we should be teaching our kids that owning their home, owning property and having investments is KEY to a healthy, wealthy future.

So, how do we teach them this?

We teach them how to earn money in the first place.

Learning to earn means learning about business, learning how to talk to people, learning how to handle money, learning how to sell something, learning about who we want to sell to and for how much.

Well, how do we teach them all of this stuff you ask??

You let them attend the FIRST ANNUAL JUNIOR BUSINESS FAIR in Habersham County on April 20th, 2024 at the Habersham County Fairgrounds in Clarkesville, Georgia, hosted by yours truly, Wealthy Kids Academy AND the most amazing Chamber of Commerce in all the land, Habersham County Chamber of Commerce.

We are going to be showcasing all youth 1st grade - 12th grade who want to come out and showcase their business.

It can be a business they already own or a new business they want to start!
Inventions, products, services - you name it!

This will be a great opportunity to get some real-world business experience and really find out what it means to be a business owner. This is one of the coolest ways kids can truly learn to earn, especially if they are not old enough to have a job! Just because they may not actually be employed, that doesn’t mean they can’t earn money! This opportunity will show them just that!
