Final Issue - From My Heart to Yours

“Don’t give your children what you wish you had. Teach them what you wish you would have known.”

Hi friends,

As I send out this final issue of the Wealthy Kids Academy newsletter, there’s one message I want to leave with you—one I hope will stay with you, your kids, and maybe even your grandkids:

Start now. Start small. Start anyway.
When it comes to building wealth for our children, time is the greatest gift we can give them. The younger they are when we begin, the more powerful their future becomes.

Albert Einstein famously called compound interest the eighth wonder of the world—and he wasn’t wrong. Even $20 a week invested from birth can set a child up for incredible financial strength later in life. Don’t underestimate small beginnings. They add up faster than you think.

But money alone isn’t the message.

Along the way, teach your kids the basics that build great adults:

  • Split every dollar—give first, save second, then spend.

  • Always pay yourself first. No matter your age, your circumstance, or your debt load—save a percentage of whatever you earn and live on the rest.

  • Learn to earn early. Encourage your kids to work, create, sell, and solve problems.

  • Spend wisely. Not every dollar has to be spent simply because it came in.

And when they’re old enough to dream bigger?
Teach them to own real estate as soon as possible—live in part of it and rent the rest. Accumulate assets, not junk. In the end, memories and investments will always outlast impulse buys and clutter.

But most importantly, remind them—and remind yourself—that wealth has never been just about money.

True wealth is:

  • A strong family

  • Close friendships

  • Deep wisdom

  • Consistent gratitude

  • Humility and kindness

  • Responsibility and self-control

  • Confidence, peace, and purpose

  • And yes… dollars and cents, used wisely and generously

Wealth is living out the calling God has placed on your life and helping your children do the same.

As I close this chapter, I want to say something from my heart:

Thank you.

Thank you to every single person who read, encouraged, or supported this little newsletter. For two years, I’ve poured my thoughts, lessons, and hopes into these emails—not just to help others, but to grow myself as well. It didn’t explode in numbers or go viral… but the process made me better, sharper, and more intentional in my own home.

And for that, I am grateful.

It’s time to hang it up now, but I hope the message lives on in your families:

Save early. Spend wisely. Teach boldly. Love deeply.
Happy saving, friends.

With gratitude,
Amanda
